Rack and pick labels, floor markers, hanging aisle signs, and dock door numbers, all laid out from one WMS location list. We sequence and package every label in install order, so your crew works down each aisle without sorting.

“Per usual, we were behind the eight ball on a site release and needed additional labels for a section we had left out. Frankie saved the day again. We had the labels in hand the very next day!”

One numbering scheme on every surface
A driver reads the aisle sign, the rack end, and the beam label on the way to one pallet. Our warehouse signs and floor markers carry the same codes as the beam labels, because we print them all from one location list.
Overhead
Hanging aisle signs
Overhead signs with the aisle number, a barcode, and color coding, visible down a long aisle.
Rack ends
Endcap and triangle signs
Mounted on the end of the rack, where a forklift driver looks before turning into the aisle.
Beams
Beam labels
The location code in large type, a barcode sized for your scanners, and a color band for the level or zone.
Uprights
Vertical level labels
The levels of a bay stacked on one upright, each in its own color.
Floors
Floor location markers
Barcoded markers for floor-stacked pallets and staging positions, on our patent-pending 10 mil floor label.
What goes on the label
| Field | Why it is there |
|---|---|
| Location code (aisle, bay, level, position) | The same string your WMS sends people to |
| Barcode or QR code | Scanned at put-away, picking, and cycle counts |
| Check digit | Spoken or keyed to confirm the right slot |
| Large human-readable code | Read from the aisle without a scanner |
| Level indicator | Tells a driver which beam to raise the forks to |
| Directional arrow | Points to the slot above or below the label |
| Zone or aisle color | Separates zones and product areas at a glance |
| Dock door number | The door a load is assigned to |
Codes print exactly as your WMS stores them, leading zeros and dashes included.
Pallet racks, shelving & pick faces
DC rack labels, from reserve pallets to the pick face.
Reserve pallet positions and the pick faces below them share one location list and one code format. We size and place each barcode for the distance it gets scanned from, whether that is arm’s length at a shelf or the top beam of a high bay.
- Beam labels, vertical multi-level labels, totems, and tunnel bay labels
- Long-range and retro-reflective labels for high bays
- Check digits for voice picking, and layouts for finger scanners
- Carousel, lift module, and ASRS labels on the same scheme
- Freezer-grade labels for the cold rooms inside the building
Floors, staging lanes & yards
Floor markers for staging lanes, floor stacks, and the yard.
Our floor markers are a 10 mil construction with a high-tack adhesive under a 3M slip-resistant over-laminate.
Outside, Par-Asphalt™ carries your location codes onto asphalt lots, yards, and bulk storage areas.
- 4″ × 6″ standard or custom sizes, in white, black, red, green, orange, or blue
- Barcodes, QR codes, arrows, and location text on the marker
- Pressure-sensitive backing that installs without special tools
- Par-Asphalt™ samples to test on your own lot before you commit
Aisle, dock & receiving signs
Dock doors and receiving, signed to match the racks.
Carriers, visitors, and new hires find their way by the signs before they read a single rack label.
- Dock door numbering, and shipping and receiving signs
- Yard and driver check-in signs, and forklift safety signs
- QR code location signs for scanners and phones
- Industrial-grade plastic, mounted on chains, conduit, wire supports, or the rack
- Steel frames screwed into the concrete where a sign needs the most protection
New buildings, re-slots & WMS go-lives
Every label for the building, packaged in the order you install it.
A go-live puts every location on one deadline. We lay out the whole building from your list, then sequence and package everything aisle by aisle.
If a section gets left out, send the extra locations. We print them in the same layout and code format as the rest.
- The same codes on the floor as in your WMS export
- A proof of the layout and the numbering before anything prints
- One team from layout to delivery. You won’t get passed around.
- Re-slot labels sequenced in the order your team makes the moves
How it works
A spreadsheet export from your WMS and a floor plan are enough to start a building.
1
Send the location list
Your WMS export, the rack types and heights, and the scanners you use. A photo of a current label lets us match it.
2
We lay out the scheme
Label sizes, colors, barcode type, and check digits, set for your rack heights and scan distances.
3
You approve a proof
Nothing prints until the layout and the numbering are right. Ask for samples to try on a real beam and a stretch of floor first.
4
Packaged in install order
Your crew opens a box and works down the aisle.
