Test them on the machine that’s hardest on tags
“ParCode worked with LG to design and provide barcode labels that could be mounted 30 feet high and still be scanned from ground level using standard scanners. Our supervisors did not expect this to be possible and were pleasantly surprised when the solution worked exactly as promised.”
Claire G., LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc.

What goes on the tag
| Field | Why it is there |
|---|---|
| Equipment number | The same ID as the machine’s CMMS record |
| Barcode (Code 128 or Code 39) | Quick handheld scans at the crib window and on PM routes |
| QR code | A tech’s phone goes straight to the machine’s record |
| Equipment description | Press 4 or Air Compressor 2, readable at the machine |
| Line, cell, or department | Who owns the machine when a work order comes in |
| Serial number | Matches the OEM nameplate for service calls and warranty work |
| Company name or logo | Marks plant-owned tools apart from a contractor’s |
| Color stripe | Tells maintenance, tool crib, and quality tags apart |
We pick up the numbering your CMMS already uses, with the same prefix, site code, and digit count.
Machines & maintenance
Manufacturing asset tags that tie each machine to its CMMS record.
Tag every press, CNC, compressor, and conveyor with the number your CMMS already uses. Techs scan the machine to pull up its work orders and PM history instead of searching the asset list.
For a coolant splash zone or an oily guard, we recommend a chemical-resistant construction.
- Equipment number, description, and department, matched to your CMMS export
- Code 128 or Code 39 for handheld scanners, QR for phones on the floor
- A color stripe for each line or area, from seven standard colors
- ParVoid tags that show “VOID” if someone moves a tag to another machine
Tool crib, gauges & quality
Tool tags that match the crib log and the calibration record.
Every torque wrench, caliper, micrometer, and gauge gets its own number. Checkout at the crib window becomes a scan, and each calibration record points to one tool.
- 0.3″ × 1″ and 0.5″ × 1.5″ tags, with custom sizes for smaller tools
- 2-part tags: the tag goes on the gauge, the matching tab on its calibration certificate
- Thin, flexible ParPlus polyester that conforms to rounded tool bodies
- ParVoid or ParDestruct, so one gauge’s number can’t end up on another gauge
- “Property of [company]” wording for tools that travel with contractors or between plants
Raw material, components & line-side stock
Line-side bin labels and rack labels built from your location list.
We lay out a label for every rack, shelf, carton flow lane, and bin on your ERP or WMS location list. Labels arrive in install order, one line or aisle at a time, with nothing to sort.
- Color coding by line, cell, or material type, so stock goes back where it belongs
- Magnetic labels for line-side racks that get reset when the product mix changes
- Long-range and retro-reflective labels for high-bay racks, sized for your scanner and distance
- Check digits for kitting areas that pick by voice or finger scanner
WIP, lots & finished goods
Tote labels for WIP, and the printers and stock for your lot labels.
WIP moves between operations in totes and trays. Pre-numbered barcode labels give each container an ID your system can follow.
When lot, batch, and finished goods labels print from your own system, we supply the printer, die-cut label stock, and ribbon.
- Sequential barcode labels for totes, trays, crates, and bins, in the format your system reads
- Code 128, GS1-128, Data Matrix, or QR, and more than one code on a label
- Removable labels for reusable totes that change jobs
- Printers chosen with you for each line, plus ongoing support and integrator introductions
How it works
Send an equipment export from your CMMS, a location list from your ERP, or a photo of a tag already on a machine. We lay out the labels and print them in order.
1
Tell us what you’re tagging
Machines, tools, racks, or totes, with quantities and your current numbering.
2
We set the construction
Size, material, color, and barcode or QR, chosen for where the tag goes: a machine guard, a gauge, or a bin.
3
You approve a proof
Nothing prints until the layout and the numbering are right.
4
Delivered in install order
Printed from your starting number and packed by line, area, or aisle.

Materials
- ParPlus polyester (white or silver): printed under a protective laminate that resists solvents and abrasion.

- ParDestruct vinyl: breaks into small pieces if anyone tries to peel it off.
- Chemical-resistant constructions, made to order.

FAQs
Questions plant teams ask
Yes. Send an export or the last number you issued, and numbering picks up at the next one.
Yes. Photograph one or mail us a sample. We recreate the layout, the stripe color, and the number format.
Test before you order. Tell us what reaches the tag and how the machine gets cleaned, and we’ll send chemical-resistant samples to put on that machine.
Our smallest standard size is 0.3″ × 1″. For tools with less flat space, we make custom sizes and shapes.
Code 128 or Code 39 when the crib and the techs carry handheld scanners. QR when people scan with phones. One tag can carry both.
Yes. Choose Purchase Order at checkout and enter your PO number. Card works too.
Online orders start at 250 tags, from $122.50, with free shipping. Location labels, custom sizes, and runs over 10,000 tags are quoted.
Yes. We help you choose the printer, then supply die-cut label stock and ribbon to fit it, with ongoing support.
